DHA Lahore is not one neighbourhood but a string of phases, each with its own character, gates and traffic patterns. A driver who knows that Raya is in Phase 6, that Rahbar and EME are nowhere near the main DHA, and that Phase 8 is one of the quickest places in Lahore to reach the airport from, saves you a lot of phone calls.
DHA phase by phase
Phases 1 to 4: the older, settled phases
These are the established phases closest to Lahore Cantt and Walton, with mature trees, big houses and busy commercial pockets. Y Block market in Phase 3 and Gold Crest Mall in Phase 4 are the usual meeting points. Streets are narrower than in the newer phases, so evening parking near the markets is tight. From here, Cantt and Gulberg are a short drive and the airport is about 20 to 25 minutes away.
Phases 5 and 6: the busy middle
Phase 5’s CCA commercial area and Phase 6’s Main Boulevard are where DHA eats out and shops, and Raya in Phase 6 adds the golf course and its commercial area. Both phases have quick access to the Ring Road, which makes them good starting points for the airport, the M-2 and road trips north.
Phases 7 and 8: newer and more spread out
Phase 7 is newer, with wide roads and plenty of open plots, so a location pin helps. Phase 8 sits right next to Allama Iqbal International Airport, which makes it the easiest part of DHA for early flights and late arrivals.
Phase 9 Town, Phase 9 Prism and Phase 10
These newer phases sit off the Ring Road on the outer side of DHA. Some blocks are still filling up and roads change as construction moves on, so we always ask for a pin and the nearest landmark before the first pickup.

Phase 13 is still developing. Send a pin and a nearby landmark, and we confirm the route the day before.
Phase 11 (DHA Rahbar) and Phase 12 (EME Sector)
Rahbar and EME carry the DHA name but are separate from the main DHA. Rahbar is off Defence Road in the south-west of the city, and EME Sector is on the Multan Road side, closer to Thokar Niaz Baig. That puts both much nearer the motorways than the airport, so allow extra time for airport runs.
Getting around DHA
DHA traffic is calmer than central Lahore, but the main boulevards and the roads around Y Block, CCA and Main Boulevard Phase 6 slow down in the school rush and from about 7 pm on weekends. Gates and guards are part of daily life: a driver gives the phase, block and house number at the barrier, and everything moves faster when that information is ready.
For the airport, the Ring Road is usually quickest from Phases 5 to 8. For Gulberg and the Mall, Walton Road and the Cantt roads work better from the older phases.
Weddings and events in DHA
DHA’s clubs, marquees and banquet halls host many of Lahore’s winter weddings. Marquee timings in Punjab are enforced, so plan the arrivals backwards from your slot.
Local tips from our drivers
- Share a pin for new phases. Phase 7, 9 Prism, 10 and 13 have blocks that maps do not always show correctly.
- Weekend evenings: Y Block, Phase 5 CCA and Phase 6 Main Boulevard are busiest after 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Early flights: from Phase 8 the airport is only minutes away. From Rahbar or EME, leave earlier than you think.

Road trips from DHA
DHA families book a lot of summer trips north. From Phases 5 and 6, the Ring Road takes you to the M-2 in about 45 minutes. Popular choices are Lahore to Islamabad, a long weekend in Murree and, for the adventurous, Hunza in an SUV.

Do you cover every DHA phase?
Yes. We pick up across DHA Lahore, from Phases 1 to 8 through Phase 9 Town, Phase 9 Prism, Phase 10 and Phase 13, plus DHA Rahbar (Phase 11) and EME Sector (Phase 12). For the newer phases, a location pin on WhatsApp saves time at the gate.
How long does it take from DHA to the airport?
Phase 8 is right next to Allama Iqbal International Airport. From Phase 5 or 6 it is about 20 minutes in normal traffic using the Ring Road or Airport Road. From Rahbar, EME or the outer phases, allow 40 minutes or more.
Can I get a decorated wedding car in DHA?
Yes. We send decorated cars for the couple and matching cars for the family to any DHA club, marquee or home. Book early for winter weekends, and tell us the hall's slot so the baraat arrives on time.
Is self drive available for DHA residents?
Yes. Self drive cars are handed over at our Lahore Cantt office, or at your address in Lahore on request. The Cantt office is about 15 to 25 minutes from most of DHA. Bring your CNIC, a valid driving licence and the refundable deposit.
Do you have 7 seater cars for DHA families?

Can the driver wait while I shop at Y Block or Phase 6?
Yes. Waiting is part of a daily booking with a driver. In the evening, parking at Y Block and on Main Boulevard Phase 6 gets tight, so the driver drops you at the door and picks you up at a point you agree on the phone.
