Before you go
- Best time to go
- All year. Expect fog on winter mornings and heat in June.
- Road and weather
- The quickest way is the M-2 to Pindi Bhattian, then the M-4 to Faisalabad. The older road through Sheikhupura is shorter on the map but slower, with towns and heavy traffic. Winter fog can close the motorways overnight and in the early morning.
- Tolls
- Tolls on the M-2 and M-4 are collected at the toll plazas (M-Tag). They are charged at actual cost on top of the car rate. Check the current NHA rates before you travel.
Faisalabad is Pakistan’s textile capital and the third largest city in the country. Most trips from Lahore are for business: mills, buying houses and the busy markets around the Clock Tower. With the motorway, it is an easy day out.
The drive
The driver takes the M-2 north-west from Lahore, past Sheikhupura and the Sukheki service area, to Pindi Bhattian. There the M-4 branches off south-west and runs straight to Faisalabad. The motorways are quick and quiet compared with the old road through Sheikhupura.

Inside Faisalabad
Faisalabad’s centre is laid out around the Clock Tower (Ghanta Ghar), with eight bazaars running out from it like the spokes of a wheel, including the famous cloth markets. Traffic in the bazaars is slow and parking is scarce, so a car with a driver who drops you at the entrance saves a lot of time.
Who books this trip
- Textile and garment buyers visiting mills and suppliers, often with a same day return.
- Families going to weddings and visiting relatives.
- Students and parents travelling to and from universities.
- Travellers heading for flights from Faisalabad.

Choosing a car
A Honda City or Toyota Corolla with a driver is comfortable and economical for this distance. For senior guests or client visits, a Honda Civic gives a more premium ride. Groups and families travel together in a Toyota Hiace. For regular business trips, see our corporate car rental options.

Going further
The M-4 continues from Faisalabad to Multan, but from Lahore the M-3 is the more direct way. See Lahore to Multan.

How outstation pricing works
Four simple rules, the same for every outstation trip. Your quote lists every item before you confirm.
Every 24 hours is one day
Outstation days are counted in 24-hour blocks from your pickup time, not by calendar date. Leave at 6 am Friday, back by 6 am Sunday: that is two days.
The outstation day rate
Trips out of Lahore use each car's outstation rate with a driver. It covers the car and the driver for every 24-hour day.
from Rs 7,000 per dayDriver night stay and food
For every night away from Lahore there is a fixed night allowance that covers the driver's stay and meals, so you never have to arrange them yourself.
from Rs 1,200 per nightFuel and tolls at actual cost
Fuel, motorway tolls (paid by M-Tag) and parking are charged at actual cost, with no mark-up. Your quote explains how they are settled.
