Wapda Town is a settled residential area on the south-west side of Lahore, built around a busy main roundabout with markets, food spots and everyday shops. It sits next to Johar Town and close to Valencia, and it is one of the quickest parts of the city to reach the motorway from.
A good starting point for road trips
From Wapda Town, Thokar Niaz Baig is about 15 minutes away, which puts you on the M-2 well before anyone leaving from Cantt or DHA. Trips to Islamabad and the north get going quickly from here, and the M-3 makes Multan an easy run too.

Getting into the city
The trade-off for being close to the motorway is distance from central Lahore. Canal Road leads to Gulberg and the Mall, and the Ring Road loops east to DHA and the airport. In normal traffic, Kalma Chowk is about 30 minutes away and the airport about 50. A car with a driver turns that time into something useful.
